  1. This is a AIBB module made on a A1200 with an Apollo 1240 40Mhz turboboard,
  2. actually it was overclocked to 50MHz (100Mhz int.), this was done simply by
  3. replacing 80 Mhz crystal with a 100 Mhz one, and adding a i486 cpu cooler.
  4. Additionaly I ran :  FastExec (with FastINT FastSSP FastEXP options), which
  5. boosted the system extremely much.
  6. I tested my a1240 board against a Blizzard1260 board with Bustest:
  7.                Apollo:        Blizzard:
  8. Chip(max):     7.1MB/s        4.0MB/s
  9. Fast(max):     65MB/s         40MB/s

  11. PS: if you have a board with an 040 40Mhz, and you want to overclock it,
  12. don't blame my if it one day just doesn't work anymore....
  13. because thats what I have experienced by now, I have been using the 040 at
  14. 50MHz for a half year by now, but one week ago it broke down and it could
  15. not startup on 50MHz anymore, so I replaced the crystal back to a 40 Mhz one
  16. again, and it worked fine....

  18. PSS: my experinece tells me that not all 040 40MHz can work on 50Mhz...
